Whether it’s your first time making a short film or you’ve made many, the Independent Filmmakers Coalition of Kansas City is here to help make the process as easy and as fun as possible.
The IFCKC’s resources – covering a range of filmmaking skills found in pre-production, production, and post-production stages -are here for you, our community. Whether you have done little or no filmmaking, have some experience, or are very experienced, we’re here to support you in your journey.
MEET
Making films is hard. It’s even harder to go at it alone. And you don’t have to! That’s why we’ve been meeting together for over 25 years, connecting other like-minded creatives to achieve our vision.
MENTOR
Coaching keeps you on track and moving forward toward new levels of skill. Focus your development efforts. For many of us, having people we answer to and create for motivates us to act.
MAKE
With your newly developed skills and newfound crew , you venture forth and create that first film… or your twentieth. We are here to encourage and help you along the way.
